Choir Of Young Believers - "Hollow Talk" [LISTEN TO IT!]

Choir Of Young Believers

"(...) these Danish folkies do the baroque harmonic pop jams thing, and their songs have the same quasi-religious feel, with a similarly solemn, churchy atmosphere" The Guardian

Have you ever been in the situation when you heard the first chords of the song, the first verse of the lyrics and it totally frozen you? You couldn't move your body, even the foot toe, you instinctively hold your breath for a moment and dreamt to stop your heart from bothering the music by its beating? And than that weird shiver of excitement came through your spine and you felt happy and disturbed at the same time?

If you'd like to experience something like that (or something similar, because everybody reacts differently to music), listen to "Hollow Talk" by Choir Of Young Believers.

In general - just listen to anything by Choir Of Young Believers. The group of musical geniouses from Denmark whom last album "Rhine Gold" is a real sensational revelation of craftsmanship and class that can crush even the heart made of stone.

"Never said it was good, never said it was new,
Muted whisper of the things you feel"

Don't miss the wonderful, brilliant remix of "Hollow Talk" by Lulu Rouge!

  1. "never said it was good, never said it was near" wow... i'm totally agree with you when you say "can crush even the heart made of stone"

When Lulu Rouge remix songs always give power and dark. But, in this case, I think that the original version is much more powerful.

Really good post, you write with your heart. And... yes I have been in the situation when the music and lyrics frozen me :)

    1. The song is extraordinary!

I first heard it in the remix version, which is great, but I agree that the original track has much more majesty and power. And it sounds amazing live! I got a chance to hear it and it was mindblowing.

Thank you for your comment and for posting on nyenummeret.blogspot.com !

Greetings from Poland (although I'm actually in Copenhagen now :) ) and good luck with your blog!
